On Friday, Chris Brown went to court for another progress report hearing and his attorney appealed for a reduced restraining order - a "do not annoy" dropped down from a "stay away."

The judge will consider the appeal.

But now Brown's critics claim the move was all part of the 21-year-old's attempt to attend the Grammys without violating his probation. One of Brown's reps, Tammy Brook, shoots this down:

"This court date and the lifting of the restraining order is part of the planned ongoing legal proceedings. The date was scheduled months ago. Chris Brown is very thankful for his Grammy nominations, but due to scheduling conflicts, he will not be attending the Grammys."

Chris Brown, who has completed his domestic violence counseling, is up for three Grammys this year.

Even Rihanna wants to move on from this whole mess. Maybe the media (and the public) should simply let it be at this point?

Apparently Charlie Sheen needed an extra day before heading off to rehab.

Despite a report claiming the 45-year-old actor was driven by his father, Martin Sheen, to Promises in Malibu on Friday, an executive producer on Two and a Half Men alleges Charlie "went into rehab on Saturday."

"Charlie hopes to be back at work in the near future but there is no time frame. Regaining his sobriety is what is most important," Mark Burg says to People.

Burg also claims that Sheen "never drove to Malibu" and "Promises was not an option."

Still, nothing has been officially confirmed and Sheen's rep has not released a statement about the actor's whereabouts. Wonder why?

And we're pretty sure Natalie Portman will add another award to her fabulous year of wins for Black Swan!
