Finally! After roughly one week, Alicia Keys and her celebrity friends (including Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and many more) raised $1 million for her Keep a Child Alive charity...
But why did it take longer than expected?
The campaign launched on World AIDS Day last week and all these Hollywood celebs stayed off Twitter and Facebook until the goal was met. Donations reached around $100,000 and then $200,000... but it wasn't until pharmaceutical entrepreneur Stewart Rahr contributed $500,000 that these stars were able to emerge from their coffins.
"I'm back from the dead! Thank you all so much for your donations and contributions! I have missed u all so much!!!," Kim K. Tweeted.
Thank Rahr! The money will go to the millions of children and families living with AIDS.

Alex Welch, the backup dancer who claims she was punched in the face by Disney star Demi Lovato, says she has yet to hear an apology.
Welch tells People:
"To this day, I haven't gotten an apology. I've heard nothing. That's sad if you think that person is your friend."
The dancer is breaking her silence about the incident saying that while on an international tour with the Jonas Brothers, Lovato confronted the dancers after hearing that someone had told on her for partying. Welch says the 18-year-old Sonny With A Chance star "pulled the dancers in a room and threatened: If I find out who told on me ..."
21-year-old Welch, who denies being the alleged tattler, adds that while on the plane, "she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat."
Welch's lawyer, Donald Karpel, says, "We have contacted the Lovato camp and we are waiting for a response. If we don't hear back, we will pursue litigation."
As for Lovato's response, her rep tells People that Demi "hasn't been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment, but multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her. Demi feels awful about what happened. Right now, she is 100 percent committed to her treatment."
Not sure if this one's going to end happily ever after.

Rachel Zoe ... is that you? Nope, it's another blonde, the eccentric Lady Gaga, who's grabbing some pizza while visiting Italy.
The singer, stepping out of Pizzeria Di Gennaro in Milan, was uncharacteristically shy while heading to her car. Maybe she was covering up a pizza sauce stain on that shaggy white fur coat.
We love how this coat is obviously faux fur ... unless Chewbacca donated his fluff to be dyed white. The fashion force is always with Gaga!

Chelsea Handler is telling the world that clowning on Angelina Jolie is something she's been doing for years.
On last night's Chelsea Lately, the host joked, "I've been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made out with her brother!"
While performing stand up over the weekend in New Jersey, Handler had referred to Jolie as a "homewrecker." Her choice words, combined with a Mexican vacation with new BFF Jennifer Aniston, certainly added fuel to the fire.
Seems like Chelsea isn't fazed one bit by the controversy. She adds, "If I've learned anything from this, it's to write some new jokes."

Kim Kardashian raked in an estimated $6 million this year alone, according to The Daily Beast's annual list of highest paid reality stars.
The black-haired beauty scores up to $75,000 per appearance, and add on top of that her massive contracts with Quick Trim, Skechers and Kotex.
Aside from starring in E!'s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim also has lucrative deals with several perfumes, sponsored tweets, Beach Bunny Swimwear, ShoeDazzle and the best-selling new book, Kardashian Konfidential.
Reality star-turned-fashion designer Lauren Conrad comes in second with an estimated $5 million. Rounding out the top three ... The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel with an estimated $4 million.
Way to keep it real, girls. Well, really scripted.
While sitting down with The Today Show's Matt Lauer, Angelina Jolie is opening up about her six kids and her hopes for the future. She tells Lauer:
"Hopefully, they'll be the strong, beautiful individuals that they are today and be happy in their lives, be fulfilled in their lives and be living their lives honestly."
As for why people are so interested in her life, Angie adds:
"I don't find myself that interesting. I like to think I've become a better woman as I've gotten older and I have a full life, but I do the same thing everyday in my natural life. I wear the same thing everyday."
Brad Pitt's ladylove doesn't think the spotlight will shine on her forever. The 35-year-old says, "I just assume the older I get, the more it will go away ... the more private I'll become."

Katy Perry looked gorgeous while supporting her hubby, Russell Brand, on the red carpet for the premiere of his new film, The Tempest.
The married California Gurl wore a white lace Elie Saab one shoulder gown, while the scruffy comedian wore grey head to toe. This suit is something only Mr. Brand could get away with, but he wears it well.
A month has passed since these two tied the knot in India, and it looks like love is still in the air!
Dates nights are super important ... even if the whole world is watching.
For his next movie role, Russell will play a veteran British footballer. Do you think he'll be able to pull it off? If not, maybe he could ask David Beckham for private lessons.

It's a good thing we can't stop playing Battle Studies, because otherwise we'd rip John Mayer a new one for his pornoriffic facial fuzz!
The sometimes sexy singer/songwriter (remember those Gap ads a few years back? HOT!) was snapped out and about in NYC yesterday, and he nearly went unrecognized with his winter gear and headphones. Wonder what he's listening to?
In other news, it appears as though Mr. Mayer has put his Pacific Palisades home on the market, as Real Estalker reports that the 3,648 square-foot property is currently listed at $1.3 million. Mayer bought the pad in June of 2006 for $1,750,000, so it looks like he wants a quick sale, because that's one heck of a loss! And does this mean he's moving to NYC?
