Pamela Anderson flew to Montreal to unveil her new vegetarian campaign for PETA today, but at the very last minute the buxom blonde was denied a permit for the event after city officials claimed her add was sexist.

Anderson says, "In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens. In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas -- is that next? I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical." PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews, quipped, "I think that city officials are confusing 'sexy' with 'sexist.'"

Anderson will now be debuting her campaign at Restaurant Globe as part of a news conference for the Just for Laughs Festival, and we're still wondering why the ad was banned. It's not like she's naked!

And compared to the other names he tosses her way, that's a compliment! After arguing about how much money he spends on her, an enraged Mel Gibson calls baby mama/ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva a number of insulting things and screams like an angry bear while she calmly asks what she's done to offend him.

After Mel huffs and puffs and hollers some indecipherable things into the phone, Oksana says, “I cannot be with somebody like this ... you don’t love me. This is not somebody that loves me. This is some completely off-balance person who absolutely hates me. Why do you hate me so much? What did I do to you?”

Mel blames her for his financial demise, claiming he's spent over $5 million dollars on her, and for the first time since any of these recordings have been released, Oksana fights back a bit, telling him his claims are "bullsh*t" and adding that he's the meanest person she knows. Mel's response? “Yeah, you know what mean is now, don’t you? So don’t call me mean when I’m nice to you. Because I’d like to show you what mean really is. B*tch, c*nt, wh*re, gold digger! All true! You f*cking proved it to me!" When Mel calls her a poor excuse for a mother, Oksana says, "You're the worst father I ever met, goodbye" and hangs up.

This guy is really making a strong plea to move to Texas to get his kids out of the limelight and, of course, be closer to ex Sandra Bullock...

Jesse James recently testified in an Orange County court that his 6-year-old daughter Sunny "acts out, she's more agitated, she has sleeping problems," since mom Janine Lindemulder was released from a halfway house last month. "The more contact she has with her mom, the more fear she has to sleep in her own room."

Apparently, the custody battle is negatively affecting Sunny - claims James - and she would only benefit from moving to Austin, Texas... in a new home just miles away from Sandra Bullock.

But is this move more for Jesse as opposed to Sunny? Either way, the biker intends to relocate on July 31st.

Lindsay Lohan is resting comfortably and getting the help she needs at in-patient treatment center Pickford Lofts.

X17online broke the story, exclusively, this morning that the troubled starlet was admitted to Pickford Lofts sober living house in Los Angeles -- a place that describes itself as "transitional living for people in recovery." Robert Shapiro, the lawyer rumored to be the front-runner to take over Lindsay's case, created Pickford Lofts in honor of his son, Brent, who died of an apparent drug overdose in 2005.

While at Pickford, Lindsay will be participating in morning meditation, weekly family support meetings, a 12-step work program and regular workout sessions.

The facility provides four separate lofts, with up to four patients in each loft. No word yet on whether Lindsay is sharing a room.

Pickford's accommodations are a far cry from what she will experience at the Lynwood correctional facility. Even though she's still set to be serving time behind bars, the transitional period until she gets there may not be as severe ... thanks to her comfy stay at Pickford.

The Grammy winner attended the London premiere of her boyfriend's film Psychosis last night and told the press what we've all been waiting to hear: "The album will be six months at the most."

And even better? Amy Winehouse explains "it’s going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff and the songs that are... just jukebox, really."

Okay, so she's not completely coherent, but still! This is good news. We're excited for Wino to come back with a bang!

Ryan Reynolds appears as the Green Lantern on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly, and the hunky Canadian chats with the mag about everything from getting in shape for the movie to his gorgeous wife Scarlet Johansson.

On getting hurled through the air on a wire 60 feet per second to create the illusion of flight, Ryan says, “The first time you do it, you’re deeply considering an adult diaper.” Ha! So how did he keep his sexy bod in tip top shape for the movie? "You spend one day a week eating what you want and the other six days eating drywall and wood chips.” Hey, we can appreciate it...even through the superhero suit, we're definitely drooling!

Ryan even opened up about ScarJo's recent role in Iron Man 2, remarking, “We have a lot of comic books lying around the house – more than the average young married couple.”

Dina and Ali Lohan spent the night at the Pickford Lofts rehab facility last night with Lindsay for the troubled stars' first night in the in-patient facility.

• 2:45 pm - Lindsay and her sister went to HD Buttercup furniture store in Culver City around 2:45 pm yesterday and stayed for approximately 30 minutes before heading to Pickford Lofts.



• 3:45 pm - Ali and Lindsay arrived around 3:45 pm at Pickford Lofts.



• 10:00 pm - Samantha Ronson arrives for a visit with Lindsay, stays 45 minutes and leaves.



• 11:00 pm - Lindsay's off-again-on-again assistant Eleanor arrives with pillows for an apparently became a family sleepover. She leaves 30 minutes later.



• 1:00 am - Dina arrives to spend the night with Lindsay.



• 2:00 am - Eilat Anschel arrives and stays for about an hour visit before leaving.

Question is, will this rehab move help win a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for Lindsay or will she Go To Jail; Go Directly To Jail?

Jessica Simpson and her new (retired) football player boyfriend Eric Johnson were snapped at LAX last night, and it looks like a romantic trip to Italy was just what she needed! Jess definitely looked a bit jet lagged (and we won't even start on her wild print dress), but we can still see that glow on her face!
