After initially saying no to letting their songs be used on Glee, Coldplay has done a 180 and opened their catalog up for use on Fox's hit show.

"Coldplay called a week ago and said, 'We're sorry, you can have our catalog,'" the show's creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy revealed at Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Roundtable.

And out of all the artists he approached to have their music featured on his show, including Madonna, Lady GaGa and Journey, Murphy says Coldplay and Bryan Adams were the only ones to ever turn him down. But now that Coldplay has gone in a "New Direction", "My favorite rejection was Bryan Adams," says Murphy.

But now that he's the last man standing, can we expect to hear one of the kids belt out "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?" sometime next season?

After all, if you let the kids on American Idol sing it, why not Glee?

Brandon Davis arrived at Ago last night for an intimate birthday party just looking for a fight -- as soon as he rolled up to the restaurant and heard paparazzi wish him a "happy birthday", he only had one response: "F*ck off!"

Was he that pissed that they got his birthday wrong?

Brandon was clearly agitated at the dinner, repeatedly hurling the F word at cameramen who were shooting from outside the restaurant.

"Get the f*ck out of my face!" he screamed at one photog while a female companion begged him to calm down.

But Brandon wouldn't calm down and things got pretty ugly when Brandon tried to attack a paparazzo outside of the restaurant, but was restrained by a few level-headed friends.

Frustrated, Brandon can be seen punching the top of the car as his friends shoved him inside and drove off before things got any worse.

Seems like someone needs to go to anger management!

Jennifer Aniston is abandoning her good girl image to play a "sexually aggressive" woman in her next film, Horrible Bosses.

Course, Jen has gone dark and sexual before, ironically in a film called The Good Girl, but after a string of so-so rom-coms, this marks her return to an ensemble comedy in which she'll play a "provocative and sexual, but also hysterically funny" character, according to her rep.

And unfortch, despite rumors to the contrary, Aniston will NOT be going naked in the new film. "There are no plans for her to go fully nude or topless, but the role does require an aggressive sexuality that many folks have not seen from Jennifer on screen before."

Someone is playing a very expensive trick on Charlie Sheen!

For the second time in four months, his car was found abandoned in a ravine off of Mullholland drive near his Hollywood Hills home.

The Mercedes-Benz (which is a different one that was driven off a cliff the first time) was last spotted in his driveway Monday at 4pm. A security guard reported the crash around 3am.

Police are treating it as a stolen vehicle ... which was later recovered.

Last February, Charlie's car was joined by a Bentley belonging to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump, but this time, Sheen's Benz was the only car found in the ravine.

Taylor Lautner chats with GQ for their July Fall Style Preview issue, and while the 18-year-old heartthrob takes off his shirt to reveal the body that made him famous, he also shows us there's much more to him than perfect abs and bulging biceps.

On having to audition a second time for the role of Jacob Black, an incredibly humble Taylor says, “I’m in the gym, and I’m doing reps, and I’m reading the books, and I’m studying the character. I’m just saying to myself, ‘I want this role. I love this role. I’m not gonna lose it. And I’m gonna know it better than anybody, and I’m gonna do that extra rep, because I’m gonna be Jacob Black.’” Aww! And with some encouragement from co-star Kristen Stewart, Taylor was able to land the role (and paycheck!) of a lifetime.

So what about that buff bod of his? Taylor doesn't want to be typecast as the beefy dude in movies, as he tells the mag about his recent role in Valentine's Day. “Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt," he says. "The script said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He’s gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no. The reason I took off my shirt for New Moon is because it’s written in the book that way. And there’s reasons behind it.”

Yesterday afternoon we spotted Lindsay Lohan coming and going from the Chateau Marmont, and later we snapped her leaving around 1am. Think she was mixing business with pleasure? You know she was!






Rob showed Kristen his fangs during the taping of a The Twilight Saga: Eclipse special today with Jimmy Kimmel!

The entire cast was in Kimmel's Hollywood studio for a fan-driven show in which audience members got to ask questions of the cast and clap and scream uncontrollably every time Robert did something cute ... which was often!

But really, are these two in love or what? That's total public flirting going on! And Rob says he just wants to go on a date, puh leeeeez!
