Lindsay Lohan walked in to the Beverly Hills court house at 8:35am this morning wearing a conservative suit and a somber look on her face, and while she was only a few minutes late for her DUI progress report hearing, Judge Marsha Revel laid down the law and then some!

Judge Revel gave Lindsay a long list of probation terms -- she's not allowed to drink any alcohol, she has to have a SCRAM device put on her within the next 24 hours and as previously mentioned, she must submit to random drug testing, and she must attend all of her alcohol education classes unless it's due to a random drug test, all of which will be done locally in the greater Los Angeles area.

Shawn Chapman Holley said Lindsay intends to comply with the court's conditions of bail and probation, but she protested the SCRAM device, saying, "Ms. Lohan has a number of upcoming photo shoots" along with a new movie in Texas, and "the SCRAM device would interfere with all of that work," adding that their alternative suggestion was that Lindsay be randomly tested for drugs and alcohol, but not have to wear the alcohol monitoring anklet. Judge Revel firmly stated that all of the drug testing will be done locally, and she wouldn't back down about the SCRAM device, adding that any delay on the drug testing would prevent her from complying with the court's order.

Lindsay's attorney then tried to convince Judge Revel to agree to allow Lindsay to complete more than one alcohol education class per week, and while Judge Revel said she was more than happy to have Lindsay complete extra classes, she wasn't allowed to use this as a way to expedite her completion of the program, and she still had to do her scheduled weekly classes as they are more beneficial than trying to "get it all done at once."

Basically, Lindsay didn't get what she wanted, and if she fails a drug test (or fails to have it taken in time), she will be in violation of her probation, and that would pretty much guarantee a jail sentence at her next hearing.

At the formal violation hearing will take place on July 6 at 8:30am.

Lindsay left the courthouse at 10:50am, and she didn't take any questions as she rushed to her black SUV and sped off.

Paula Abdul has signed on to a new dance competition show, Got To Dance, where she'll perform double duty as the series' head judge and executive producer.

Effectively ending months of speculation that she'd join former colleague Simon Cowell's the X Factor, or any number of other competition shows who have courted the former AI judge since she declined to return for season 9, CBS announced the deal with Abdul today.

Got To Dance is based on the British hit series, which features all genres of dancing. The show is slated for a mid-season debut, which pits it directly against the now Simon-less American Idol.

Lindsay Lohan is set to arrive at court any minute now, and there are news helicopters and dozens of reporters and photographers waiting to catch the starlet before she learns her fate. Hopefully she shows up on time, because we have a feeling Judge Revel is going to be extra harsh if Lindsay rolls up fashionably late!

Despite warnings from doctors that he wasn't quite ready to get back to work after suffering not only an exploding appendix, the brain hemorrhage and a small stroke, Michaels appeared strong and healthy at last night's finale.

Despite the fact that Lindsay Lohan is delusional claims she has been compliant with the court and doesn't see a reason why she should go to jail or rehab, judgement awaits!

The 23-year-old starlet missed her DUI progress report hearing in Beverly Hills last Thursday because she was stranded in Cannes without a passport (she's suggested dad Michael had something to do with it's disappearance), and though Judge Marsha Revel initially said she wouldn't be in town this week to handle Lindsay's case, she has since adjusted her travel plans so she can hand Lindsay a harsh dose of reality.

But is Lindsay prepared for what's to come? Interestingly enough, the starlet didn't go out last night -- she stayed in her hotel room, presumably to sleep and stay out of trouble. Since the actress failed to complete her court mandated alcohol education program in the allotted time, it would appear as though she's in violation of her probation, which could result in up to 6 months of jail time. Lindsay is due to show up at 8:30 sharp, and if she's late, we have a feeling Judge Revel won't have any mercy on her!
