California Attorney General Edmund G. Brown Jr. said yesterday that an "illegal and massive prescription-drug ring" linked to the death of Corey Haim is currently being investigated, and he released the following statement regarding the matter:

"Corey Haim's death is yet another tragedy linked to the growing problem of prescription-drug abuse. This problem is increasingly linked to criminal organizations ... It's a serious public health problem."

Though Corey's mother Judy told the press that he died from pulmonary congestion, LA County Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter says that the final cause of death is still pending. Winter released the following statement:

"We did an autopsy. We gave his mother some preliminary findings but it does not mean it is the final cause of death. The final cause of death is pending toxicology and other reports. We did discuss issues involving his heart and lungs. We are not going to comment on specifics until the final results come back. It could be up to six weeks."

Last night Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz got sushi at Agura, and the Twilight stars were greeted by a flashbulb frenzy as they stepped out of the car. And to think, this is nothing compared to the attention they're going to get once we get closer to Eclipse time!

During a radio interview with Billy Bush, Demi Lovato seemingly spilled the beans on her relationship with Joe Jonas. Billy was able to squeeze a confirmation from the 17-year-old Disney starlet, and though Demi kept dropping the "he's my best friend" line, when Billy flat out asked her if they were dating, she did say yes. Unless there was some sort of misunderstanding, this backs up what we've been speculating all along...

Meanwhile, Jennifer Love Hewitt's rep has confirmed that the actress has split from comedian Jamie Kennedy after over a year of dating and engagement rumors. Maybe she was still holding the pear thing against him?

...but it looks like Vanessa Hudgens has already found her hat!

Then again, I reeeally shouldn't poke too much fun at the starlet - not only is she beaming in these shots, but she looks so gorgeous and chic. I guess if I had Zac Efron and millions of High School Musical dollars in the bank, I'd be glowing too!

I guess she's used to the whole flying solo thing these days, and she seems to be handling it pretty well! Jennifer Aniston touched down in NYC last night, and for someone who just sat on a plane for 6 hours, she looks pretty fab. I mean, my hair certainly doesn't look this under control when I travel...

Yesterday we snapped the starlet (who just put her Beverly Hills pad on the market for $8.4 million) racing around town last night in a pair of quirky red frames. Think this is some sort of fashion statement or does she really have difficulty seeing?

While Britney Spears and her mother Lynne went into a meeting with Brit's attorneys yesterday afternoon, Brit's two young sons Jayden James and Sean Preston were left with the bodyguard, and it looks like they were quite a handful! As several pedestrians walked by their vehicle, the boys giggled and hollered at them, and we're not sure what sort of vocabulary words K-Fed and Britney have been putting on their flashcards, but they sure got one heck of a reaction from the ladies!



Wonder what they were discussing at Brit's lawyer's office though? Conservatorship stuff perhaps?

Rather than getting grilled about her DUI, Nicole Richie seemed to have a much easier time when she sat down and chatted with Jimmy Kimmel last night, but he DID make two cracks about her lack of driving skills, which made us chuckle. We're a little scared to hear about her flying planes though...I guess as long as she isn't flying anything upside down we're safe!
