It looks like her recent trip to Hollywood provided her with some clarity! UK pop sensation Cheryl Cole has confirmed that she will be splitting from her adulterous hubby Ashley Cole.

The singer/X Factor judge is currently on her way back to London, and though she's been sporting a massive rock on her finger, it's NOT her wedding ring. Her rep released the following statement:

"Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make."

First drugs, and now the sex confessions! In the second day of Lindsay Lohan's juicy interview with the Sun, the starlet talks about her lesbian relationship with Samantha Ronson and how she still has feelings for the DJ.

Lindsay tells the British tabloid:

"I never really thought about women before, it kind of just happened with Samantha. It surprised me ... If I wasn't with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She's the only woman I've been attracted to. We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe ... She kind of does what she wants now. It's changed, so who's to say we won't be together again?"

On why things didn't work out, Lindsay says:

"Her family is very involved in her relationships and that was difficult … All the fighting stuff was just because all her friends had got involved and made me an outcast, which wasn't fair to Samantha. I think it was a jealousy thing in terms of her becoming more famous than the rest of them."

On coming out with Sam:

"It was a big deal for me because I've never had a relationship as public as that, especially being with a girl for the first time. That was really scary for me. But I didn't care because I love her."

Aww, sounds like Linds still isn't over her first love! Do you think this is another one of her attempts to win Sam back? It's been months since they ended their romance, and with rumors of Sam rolling around town with a new lady love, we think it would be healthier for Lindsay to move on...

Paula Abdul is finally returning to television, hosting her own daily chat fest on Oprah's new OWN network.

The format will be "Oprah Inspired" according to the National Enquirer, with a mix of celebrity guests and real life stories.

When asked if this new project meant she wouldn't be able to judge the X Factor, which was rumored to be her first post-Idol gig, Paula responded, "Of course not. If Ellen Degeneres can do it…so can I!"

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are reaching out to the parents at Premier Academy in Windemere, Florida where their 2-year-old daughter Sam attends day care.

The couple is apologizing for all the drama they've caused in hopes that their apology will be accepted by the community.

But Woods is not laying off the paparazzi, saying that the shutterbugs are making the situation worse. Really, Tiger? It's not the time to start passing the blame. But let's not go there!

Here is the letter that was sent to the school:

Dear Premier Academy parents,

We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and off our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children. We truly understand how frustrating it can be.

We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future. In the meantime, it is our goal to keep life as normal as possible for our children. We are sure that as parents you can appreciate that. For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much.

Again, we truly appreciate the support from the entire Premier Academy family.

Whitney Houston's comeback tour isn't the smashing success that Clive Davis hoped for!

Last night at her Brisbane concert, fans stormed out when she failed to dazzle, singing out of tune and out of breath and even walking off stage to take a "break" after only two songs, enlisting the help of her brother Gary to carry the tune.

Concert goers described her performance to the Daily Telegraph as "embarrassing", "terrible", "poor", "rambling" and "hopeless". Others said they would be demanding a refund.

The Aussies are notoriously tough critics (Britney got a similar reception) but in this case, they may be right. Check out her attempt at 'I Will Always Love You', above and tell us what YOU think!

After leaving the BAFTAs together and then cozying up at an after party, Rob Pattinson has FINALLY admitted that he's giving co-star Kristen Stewart some love bites off camera too. According to the Sun, Rob said:

"It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes. We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention."

Of course, we had to throw in these leaked shots from Eclipse too - we can't believe we're only 126 days away from seeing this on the big screen!

Aussies Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban cheered on their adopted home country at the Vancouver Ice Dancing finals last night, where Team USA Meryl Davis and Charlie White took home the silver medal!

Nicole trained her icy gaze on the rink while Keith pulled out a pair of fuzzy binoculars to watch the Americans battle it out with the Canadians (who eventually took the gold) and the Russians who normally dominate the event.

Nicole looked glowing in the stands! Is it the spirit of the Olympics? Having her hot hubby by her side? Or is Nicole preggers again after having visited a fertility clinic here in LA last month?
