This has been a long time coming!

A judge ruled this Friday that director Roman Polanski, accused of engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl in 1978, must return to the U.S. so as to not "manipulate the justice system" any further.

Polanski spent over 60 days in a Swiss jail before being transferred to house arrest in early December.

The director's attorneys, as well as an attorney for the victim, have argued Polanski should be sentenced absentia.

While the judge has ruled Polanski must appear in a Los Angeles courtroom, his decision will likely be appealed.

Looks like George Clooney and the rest of Hollywood proved that lending a helping hand can do a lot of good...

Friday night's celebrity-studded "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon raised a record-breaking $58 million, and that's just donations coming from the public, not including money coming from corporations or large private donors.

The music album from Friday night's performances was also number one on iTunes in 18 countries on Saturday; those figures are still being calculated as well.

Hopefully this money can help!

The Spice Girl arrived at LAX yesterday - she's always flying somewhere! - and we couldn't help but notice that, despite how chic she looks, she's still wearing flats. Could it be that Posh is tired of wearing high heels? That can't be it!

The Internet was recently abuzz with the following headline on CNN.com: "Johnny Depp dies after fatal car crash." But thankfully, it's not true.

It all started on Twitter - some Tweets saying "RIP Johnny Depp" while others pointed out that the story was a hoax" - but moreso via www.angelfire.com, which had a fake CNN webpage announcing the actor's death... in 2004! Check out the hacked page with the sad headline above.

Who would do such a thing, and why? The mystery still remains. After all, Depp can't die - he's gotta get together with Angelina Jolie now that she's single!

News Of The World is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have signed a $330 million split deal!

Though Brad and Angelina are not married, the tabloids claim that the two have taken "legal steps to dissolve their union including how to divide their fortune and who gets custody of their six kids." A source told NOTW the agreement will give them joint custody, but the children will all live full-time with Angelina. "The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple's split," the source says. "It seemed clear they want the world to know they'll both play a part in the upbringing of the children."

Brad and Angelina were last seen together on January 5 in NYC (the picture above was taken after the not so happy couple left dinner) and X17online can exclusively report that while the couple's kids were in school in Los Angeles as usual, NO ONE has been in their Los Feliz home for the past week.
