Splitting up with your life partner isn't supposed to be easy.

Gwyneth Paltrow coined the term "conscious uncoupling" when she announced her divorce from Chris Martin, but the actress revealed in a new interview with The Edit that it took a long time to arrive at that place in their relationship.

"I wanted to turn my divorce into a positive. What if I didn’t blame the other person for anything, and held myself 100% accountable? What if I checked my own s— at the door and put my children first? And reminded myself about the things about my ex-husband that I love, and fostered the friendship? What I put myself through to get there was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life,” she explained of her thought process.

So how does she feel about being the face of conscious uncoupling going forward?

“People are coming around. I know it’s a dorky term, but it’s very worthwhile. I’m always the person who gets s— at first, but then later people say, ‘Hey, maybe that’s a good idea.’ I don’t mind," she admitted.

Something she's not OK with? The backlash she gets for being a lifestyle guru.

"People were fine with me as an actress, but with Goop it was like, ‘Stay in your lane.’ Women in general get a lot of pushback, especially if you’re successful and attractive … I’m not saying I’m attractive. I mean when you’re considered attractive," she bemoaned.

Ultimately, she's learned from every experience in her life, and she's come out on the other side.

"I’ve had an extraordinary life, where things have happened in a huge way – huge success, huge joy, huge pain, huge loss. And the reason I feel happy today is because I’ve milked the f—– out of every opportunity. I haven’t made one mistake that I haven’t used as a stepping stone to get somewhere else. I’m ruthless when it comes to using the hard things," she bragged.

Sounds like she's got it all figured out!

Kim Kardashian has been laying low in the last couple months, and she got to spend some quality time with son Saint and her grandma MJ yesterday. The reality star has had to parent largely solo while Kanye works on his new album in Wyoming, but it sounds like their marriage is finally in a better spot.

"[Kim and Kanye] have been able to process things and move past them, and are very ready for what’s next and not be so focused on the mess that was last year. They’re in a much better place," a source dished to People.

"Both Kanye and Kim have done all they can to shield the kids from this all. There was no fighting in front of the kids," the source added.

It depends on who you believe, though, because Life & Style claims they've actually been on a trial separation for the last six weeks.

"They want you to think that Kanye just needed a break from fame and Hollywood, [but] he also wanted a break from Kim and his life with her. They’re trying to make it work, but there are a lot of problems between them. It’s an ongoing struggle," a source dished to the mag.

One thing's for sure - Kimye make some cute kids!

She better get used to handling it solo.

Kourtney Kardashian stepped out to grab coffee with daughter Penelope yesterday, and the reality star was trying to put on a happy face amid all the drama. We wonder what she tells her kids about their dad? Scott Disick is still partying up a storm in Europe, and it doesn't look like he plans on coming home anytime soon.

Rumors have been flying that the mother-of-three won't let her baby daddy see their children until he sobers up, but it sounds like she's acting more so out of concern than revenge.

"Kourtney is worried for Scott, as are Scott’s friends and the whole Kardashian family. They are really worried for him. They aren’t angry — just concerned — because he’s clearly going through something," a source dished to Us Weekly.

"The partying and photos emerging are symptomatic of situations they’ve had in the past with him where he has been in a really bad place, mentally," the source added.

We can't tell if LD is hitting rock bottom or just getting started.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are trading insults again on Twitter, after she blamed her election loss on the President's collusion with Russia, fake news, and Facebook during a recent sit-down at the Code conference.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate. Hits Facebook & even Dems & DNC," the POTUS wrote on social media.

Ol' Hill couldn't resist getting in on the "covfefe" typo joke when she fired back her response.

"People in covfefe houses shouldn't throw covfefe," she shot back.

Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert sold out just six minutes after tickets went on sale on Thursday, a Twitter account dedicated to the event confirmed.

45,000 tickets got snapped up at $52 a pop, and all the proceeds will go towards the terror attack victims' families. It is expected to bring in approximately $2.6 million.

The show will be headlined by the "One Last Time" singer, and will also feature Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Usher, Pharrell, Niall Horan, and Take That, among others.

Rihanna strutted her stuff in a super sexy white shirtdress last night at the launch party for a capsule collection inspired by Jay Z's 1996 album, Reasonable Doubt. The event also drew the likes of Paris Hilton and Charlotte McKinney. But all eyes were focused on Rihanna as she entered the venue -- photographers flashed, fans screamed and everyone was thinking the same thing -- that dude who called Rihanna fat in a social media post was WRONG.

A writer for Barstool Sports, Chris 'Spags' Spagnuolo, wrote the piece entitled "Is Rihanna Going To Make Being Fat The Hot New Trend?" on Monday, and posted a pic on social media in which the "Selfish" singer appeared to have put on some weight.

Granted, Riri may have gained a few pounds, but she's far from fat and we're all on board with not fat-shaming people on social media, right? What a dumb move by Spags (stupid name, too).

Interestingly enough, Rihanna seemed to distract critics from the controversial theme of the launch event -- Dead Presidents II. The brand's lead designer wore a t-shirt with a bullseye logo emblazoned on it and those words underneath. Inside the event, Rihanna posed in front of a presidential desk with black and white American flags lining the walls and the same bullseye logo printed on the floor -- with "Dead Presidents II" written across it.

Golf legend Tiger Woods can't seem to find his footing in this sobriety test ... or in life! This dash cam video shows Woods struggling to walk as a Florida police officer tests Tiger on the side of the road.

Tiger was found asleep at the wheel of his car before police arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence in Jupiter, Florida, on Monday. According to the arrest report obtained, officers had to wake up Woods when they found him in his car. The brake lights were on and the right turn signal was flashing as Woods' car was parked in the right lane of Military Trail south of Indian Creek Parkway near Wood's home in Jupiter, Fla.

Tiger's breathalyzer number was 0.0 ... so what was up? The golfer said in a statement following his arrest that prescription meds were to blame -- and it seems like that's the truth. The athlete had fusion back surgery for "excruciating" lower back pain in April. It was his fourth procedure in three years. Almost certainly, doctors prescribed painkillers after the surgery -- and probably before. Could opioids be to blame?

Venus Williams seemed to let it slip that pregnant sister Serena is expecting a baby girl during an interview with Eurosport on Wednesday, and we have to hand it to the interviewer for the way he chose to phrase the question. "What is the baby going to call you?" he asked, and that's when he got the big reveal!

"She's going to call me ‘favorite aunt.' We're all like, 'Baby V, baby Lyn, baby Isha.' We all want the baby to be named after us," she blurted out. That pretty much confirms it - break out the pink!

In other baby news, Lauren Conrad just took to Instagram to show off her bare baby bump in a bikini and launch her new swimwear line. No word on her baby's gender, but maybe Venus could give us a hint about that too!
