X17online previously confirmed that K-Fed would appear on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, and now MSNBC is reporting that Brit's chubby ex-hubby is getting paid $100,000 to lose the blubber!

But get this...K-Fed has reportedly been overeating to get ready for the show, and Us Weekly reports that as soon as he found out he was cast, “he started putting on even more weight on purpose." A source close to K-Fed says, "He thinks that if he goes on the show, loses a ton of weight, and seems really likeable, he’ll get more deals afterward. The way he sees it, he could have another show after Fit Club, and that would open the door to working on music again, maybe even a fashion line."

Riiight. But at least he's doing something about that baby bump beer belly of his!

Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman are currently starring in the Broadway play "A Steady Rain," and last night the boys greeted their fans after one of their packed performances at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Though the show has gotten mixed reviews, it looks like the hunky actors have done a great job selling tickets!

According to producers, the play grossed $1.16 million last week alone, and that was just during previews! The play opened on Tuesday, and you can bet these two will sell even more seats over the show's 12 week run!

Just days after TLC announced that they were dropping Jon Gosselin from Jon & Kate Plus 8, Jon and his attorney demanded that the show's crew stop filming his children immediately, and he got into a war of words with TLC.

After calling his family a "trainwreck" and suggesting that the network was to blame, TLC fired back and said that they were aware of Jon's remarks, and "deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior."

Naturally, Kate has taken the time to come up with her own opinion on the matter, and in a statement released today, the reality TV mom says:

"I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids. I check in regularly with each of the kids to be sure they want to participate in and continue with the show and will continue to do so. I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn't otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well-being."

We're surprised Kate kept it so...well, polite! It should be very interesting to see what papa Jon has to say next!
