Though it seemed like 11-year-old Paris Jackson was the one who wanted to deliver that heartbreaking eulogy at her father's funeral,
E! Online is reporting that Paris was seen and heard backstage at the Staples Center telling family members that she did NOT want to make such a public statement. A source tells
E!, "
She was crying and screaming that she didn't want to do it. But the family was telling her she had to."
Woah...do you think the Jacksons really did this?

Ally McBeal used to be the quintessential pouter - yeah, I miss that show, too! But lately Lisa Rinna has taken over the throne. The pumped-up actress was out and about LA yesterday, shopping on Melrose (natch) and stopping by a gas station. It's not like she has anything better to do!

In the wake of Michael Jackson's death, a number of high profile live events are in the planning stages.
Several online reports say a memorial concert is being planned at London's O2 arena. That's where Jackson was scheduled to begin a series of 50 concerts next week and some elements of the
This Is It tour could be highlighted.
"At some point the world needs to see this production, and I would imagine it could be done as a tribute with the family ... and the stars that were influenced by Jackson," said AEG president Randy Phillips.
Producers of
Thriller -- Live, a performance of Jackson's biggest hits currently playing in London's West End could also expand into a world tour. And there were already plans for a Broadway adaptation of the
Thriller music video in the works before Jackson's death.
Think fans will turn out for these performances?

She's gorgeous, fashion-forward, intelligent and classy, and we just can't get enough of her! She's totes the next Natalie Portman, and we expect great things from the 19-year-old actress in the years to come.
Emma Watson headed to Letterman yesterday to promote
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and she looked all sorts of stunning in this chic nude and black dress. Loves it!

Yesterday we saw Madonna step out with
little miss Mercy, and a little later in the day we spotted the material girl's kiddos hanging out with their caretakers after leaving the Ritz Hotel in Paris. Doesn't Lourdes look absolutely thrilled?
Hmm, maybe Madonna was too busy getting ready for her concert at the Bercy?

She's so full of GOOP!
I know, when you think of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the first word that comes to your mind is "heffer." Except not so much at all.
In this week's
GOOP newsletter, Gwyn talks about going on an "amazing" three week
Clean detox program - no, she didn't design it, some detox specialist did.
And you know what, I appreciate her advice sometimes. Plus it seems like the program isn't liquid-only. But then she goes on to say that she is so happy she "dropped the extra pounds" she gained during a "majorly fun and delicious 'relax and enjoy life phase.'"
I ask you, have you EVER seen any
extra pounds on Gwyneth Paltrow?
Lies!

Only on Dita Von Teese could a lovely, summery flower dress like this look
fierce. Props to her! Check out the, er, burlesque dancer leaving Fred Segal the other day...
Yeah, the shoes are kinda weird, but they go with her outfit. An E for Effort!

Aha! We were wondering what happened to Michael Jackson's body after the Staples Center memorial, and while we're still not sure where it is at the moment, we do know how it left the venue!
E! Online reports that Jackson's casket was taken through an underground tunnel that connects the Staples Center to the Nokia Theatre after the memorial service. The tunnel is typically used by maintenance and food service workers (and occasionally talent), and La Toya, Rebbie and Janet Jackson all used the secret passageway when they went across the street to the Nokia Theatre.
Jackson's body left the Staples Center in a van, and it was transported to a refrigerated mortuary, but no one knows where exactly that is...I guess we'll find out soon?
