Despite reports on other websites suggesting that photographers destroyed Lindsay's bushes AND her security camera in an attempt to break in to her house, we can show you what went down on the night of the alleged burglary attempt.

On Tuesday night, several of Lindsay's close pals (including Patrick, who accompanied her to Hawaii) were seen stopping by her pad to check things out. Everything seemed totally normal, and no one (including the photogs) seemed uh, alarmed about anything. Hours later, the burglar alarm went off, but there weren't any photographers present at that point in time, and upon arriving on the scene, police determined that nothing had been stolen from Lindsay's property.

So what tripped the alarm? Accidents happen and alarms go off all the time, but our theory is that Patrick saw the disaster zone in Lindsay's room and turned on a Roomba to clean up the mess. The cute little vacuum ran into trouble when it encountered a massive mountain of dirty leggings, tunics and scarves, and it freaked out, flipped over and caused such a ruckus the alarm went off. Hey, it's possible!

I have nothing against Katy Perry, her music or her outfit... but at the same time, I can't help but wonder: does she truly have staying power? With only one or two hit songs and a static stage presence, she might not last long!
