Well, she has been on relatively good behavior recently, that trip to Hawaii definitely did her some good, and now Lindsay Lohan has landed herself a movie role! According to Variety, Lindsay will star in an "indie fantasy comedy" called The Other Side alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.

The flick is about a grad student who must spend the entire summer working at a scientific institute on a remote island. The student discovers "an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a tragedy that took place many years before." Sounds pretty interesting, but then again, so did Labor Pains, and that's going to be premiering on the big screen ABC Family later this summer.

Anyway, director David Michaels told Variety, "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that." This is Lindsay's first feature role since she starred in I Know Who Killed Me two years ago, and this particular film has been in development for three years. Shooting will begin in October off the coast of Massachusetts.

This may not land Linds that Oscar she's had her eye on, but it'll certainly be a chance for her to show off her acting chops! And who wouldn't want to work with Woody and Alanis!?

This is just precious. We caught up with Hollywood supermom Halle Berry running errands in Beverly Hills yesterday and spotted the very specific necklace she had on:

Well that's what Jesus' dad is hinting to the media!

Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz recently spoke with Brasil's Quem Magazine, and he told the publication, "The kabbalah ceremony [that] will link up my son Jesus Luz and Madonna only confirms that he is extremely happy...I don't know if there will, in fact, be a real marriage between Madonna and my son. It will be a type of ritual, but I do not know [f it] will have legal validity." Sure, it may not be a "real marriage," but if these two go through with this, we're guessing an official wedding can't be too far away!

So what does Madonna's future father-in-law think about her? "I've spoken by phone with Madonna - in French, because my English is not fluent - and she appears to me to be a normal and polite person. She is feminine. I don't feel she is a harsh person."

Daddy Luz also confirmed to the mag that Madonna and Jesus live together in her Central Park West apartment, and that Jesus has been put on manny duty! "[Madonna] has small children, and Jesus helps her out with various tasks involving all of them. He plays ball with the kids. Jesus has charisma and loves children," Luz revealed.

Hmmm, so what's this ceremony all about? Is Jesus going to be the next Ashton Kutcher?

Last night, Nobu was the place to be!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes showed up to the swanky sushi spot around 8:20pm, and they sat down at a table with about 5 other individuals. An X17 reporter inside the restaurant tells us:

"There was never a dull moment - Tom did not stop talking! Both husband and wife were dressed casually, but the dinner appeared to be business related."

Of course, Tom and Katie weren't the only famous faces there - Clint Eastwood and Renee Zellweger were there as well, and naturally, Tom stopped by Renee's table to show her some love! Our reporter tells us:

"The highlight of the evening was definitely when Tom walked over to say hi to Renee - it was like a scene straight out of Jerry Maguire! He gave her a hug and a kiss and chatted with her for about 5 minutes before heading out the back door around 10:30pm. The entire restaurant was paying attention and watching the exchange between all the superstars...everyone looked completely and utterly star struck!"

Sounds like patrons really got their money's worth last night!

Can you handle it? So, we all knew Adam Lambert was gonna be in the finale... but it was kind of a toss up between Danny Gokey and Kris Allen. Thankfully, America finally sent Danny home! Did anyone really want him to stay? Regardless if you like Adam or Kris, they're both wildly different singers who bring a lot to the table, right?

Also, what did you think of Jordin Sparks and Katy Perry singing??? They rocked!

Yesterday evening, Lindsay Lohan returned from Paris, and as soon as she got off the plane, she headed straight to the clubs! Okay, that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but Lindsay did go to Bardot just hours after she landed in Los Angeles.

After returning home from the airport, Lindsay called the cops on the paparazzi (typical), went to the club, and rather than making a grand exit out the front, Linds snuck out the back. She was able to fool most of the photogs camped outside the Hollywood hotspot, but we were able to snap a few shots of her as she dashed into a pal's car.

Oh yeah, and get this - Lindsay never went home! She spent the night at a hotel last night! Perhaps her own house was too uh, messy?

Usually it's Aniston on the set of The Baster, but yesterday we snapped Jennifer Lopez on the Hollywood set of The Back-Up Plan, and Max and Emme's mama was looking super sexy in this flowy teal dress. The flick is about a woman "who conceives twins through artificial insemination, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day."

Hmmm, sounds sorta like that film the other Jen is working on...then again, the twins part makes it different, right? And J. Lo knows all about that, so we're guessing that's why she picked this role!

Kanye West's g-friend Amber Rose was WAY star struck the other night at the Costume Institute Gala when Madonna herself GRABBED MS. ROSE'S BUTT!

She was so star struck, in fact, that she posted evidence of the grabbing on her Twitter page for the world to see.

Kanye, meanwhile, seemed to take it all in stride ... look at that look he gives the camera!
