No matter where her life has taken her, two things remain true for Britney Spears: she still loves short shorts and love!

The mother of two was spotted strutting her stuff in Westlake, Calif. on Monday and of course she highlighted her trim pins in a pair of short shorts -- her go-to fashion staple. The pop star and her mom Lynne were all smiles as they grabbed some lunch together.

For the outing, Brit Brit donned a salmon-colored top and tiny shorts with gold button details. We aren't sure these two items work together, but we've learned to just let Britney do what she's gonna do in the fashion department.

Meanwhile, the single mom admitted in a new interview that despite her countless failures in the love department that she is still “a hopeless romantic."

The "Piece of Me" singer had a chat with Australia’s Rove & Sam radio show on Sunday, and during the show the “Make Me” singer said she was optimistic about her love life despite her many failures.

Britney said, “Unfortunately, I am [a hopeless romantic]. I’ve been through horrible relationships, but unfortunately I still believe in love." Aww! Britney needs a hug!

The 34-year-old also told the hosts, “And you know, I think you should protect your heart and stuff like that. But yeah, I’m a hopeless romantic and I believe in love.”

It seems like Britney's love life has been a mess since she cheated on Justin Timberlake. She had an ill-fated relationship with ex husband Kevin Federline, although she got two boys Sean Preston, 10, and Jayden James, 9, who appear to be the apple of her eye. She's then had bad relationship after bad relationship.

We really hope the "Toxic" singer has some better luck in the dating department -- but maybe she needs to get a better eye for men ... and for fashion!

Who knew Shaq liked to play Hide-and-Seek?!

The always fun-loving Shaquille O'Neal was clearly in a zany mood when he decided to play a game of Hide-and-Seek with the paps on Monday afternoon in Calabasas. The retired hoopster may have thought his afternoon needed a little spicing up -- because he decided to act afool for the photogs. And we love it!

The former NBA star, who was looking bigger than ever, certainly caught our attention with his striking size (he stands tall at 7'1"), but we also got a good chuckle out of his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt. That shirt is turtley awesome!

Looks like Shaq was channeling Turtle Power when he grabbed some grub yesterday afternoon.

Eva Mendes opened up about losing her brother Carlos the same week she gave birth to her first child in the newest issue of Latina magazine, and we can't even imagine how hard it must have been.

"Losing my brother brought our family closer, and we were already close to begin with. So to just see everybody be there for one another and show up, I feel so lucky to have them. And then they were there for me when Amada was born," she told the mag.

"We had a funeral service for him and that same week I had the baby. So it was really, really intense and obviously beyond heartbreaking, but also kind of beautiful," she added. The brunette beauty's sibling Carlos, 53, lost his battle with cancer in April, and twelve days later she became a mom for the first time.

These days, Ryan Gosling's actress partner is more focused on parenthood than career, admitting that it would take the right role for her to return to work.

"I’m not sure, but it would definitely take something really special. I don’t like saying, 'take me away,' but essentially that’s what work does. I think it can be very, very healthy if it’s something that feels worthwhile. Right now I feel very fortunate to be home with my kids. I feel so lucky, and I’m just taking advantage of that," she confessed.

The Hitch star and her A-list baby daddy are raising their daughters with an appreciation for her Cuban roots.

"We're constantly playing Cuban music. I speak to them in Spanish, and my mom speaks to Esmeralda in Spanish. Well, now she speaks to both of them in Spanish. Any time I have an opportunity to introduce her or them—I have to say "them" now, though my newborn just sleeps all the time—to my culture, whether it's through music, or through food, I do. That is a main priority, for sure," she revealed.

Kim Zolciak is at it again! First it was lip fillers and now she's plumping up her butt!

The reality star showed off her butt when she shared an up-close-and-personal during a visit to the Kardashian's skin guy, Dr Simon Ourian, in Beverly Hills.

The doc, who runs Epione, is seen injecting the 38-year-old's bottom in the Instagram vid. In it she's she also revealed that she's documenting a cellulite-removal treatment called OptiLipo . Lucky us!

In the vid, we see the mom of six lying on a table in a black bodysuit. Her face is away but that's not really what we're focused on -- it's all about the butt!

It seems like the blonde has been on a filler kick, since last week we spotted her at LAX with a seriously puffed-up pout. It almost looked like someone had hit her in the mouth. After comments flooded the Internet, she posted a video in which she admitted she'd gotten fillers. She said in a video, "I went to Dr Kassabian, I got some Botox."

Kim also added, "I haven't done plastic surgery. I got fillers in my lips and Botox."

Stay classy, Kim.

Justin Bieber threw his hat into the Taylor Swift-bashing ring yesterday by taunting the "Wildest Dreams" songstress with a photo of him Facetiming Kanye West. "Taylor swift what up," he captioned the snapshot. That's gotta sting!

By now, you're well aware of the fact that Yeezy and wife Kim Kardashian orchestrated an epic takedown of T-Swizz by posting a Snapchat showing her lying about being consulted about the "Famous" lyric, in which Ye says "I made that b*tch famous." Quickly, Calvin Harris and nemesis Katy Perry inserted themselves into the feud, followed by many others and now The Biebs himself.

You might have forgotten the bad blood between JB and Tay Tay, but we haven't! It all started when the Canadian crooner was dating Taylor's bestie Selena Gomez, but it carried on even after their breakup.

This is all so high school!

Kesha's legal team confirmed that the singer has dropped her sexual assault lawsuit against music producer Dr. Luke in California, and she posted the haunting image above on Instagram and wrote, "My fight continues. I need to get my music out. I have so much to say. This lawsuit is so heavy on my once free spirit, and I can only pray to one day feel that happiness again. I am continuing to fight for my rights in New York. Thank you for all your support."

"Kesha has dismissed her California action without prejudice while she pursues her appeal and other legal claims in the New York courts," Kesha's attorney explained. "Kesha is focused on getting back to work and has delivered 28 new songs to the record label. We have conveyed to Sony Music and the label Kesha’s strong desire to release the single and an album as soon as possible."

Kesha sued Dr. Luke (full name: Lukasz Gottwald) in October 2014, claiming that he drugged and raped her, and after denying the allegations, he later sued her for defamation. Kesha’s sexual abuse claims against Dr. Luke were dismissed by a New York judge in April when it was ruled that the abuse Kesha allegedly suffered occurred outside of the state and that the statute of limitations had expired.

Kesha is still battling to get out of her record contract with Dr. Luke, whose label, Kemosabe, is under Sony Music. While it seems like something Sony could address, the company has stated that they are unable to break the contract.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga dined at Il Cielo last night, and we hate to admit it, but we kinda love that they matched their satiny army green outfits!

Kylie posted several snapshots of her ill-fitting belted slip on Instagram, and we have a feeling she'll be getting dolled up and hitting the town all week. Her 19th birthday is on August 10, and in addition to receiving yet another puppy from pal Jordyn Woods, Kylie recently revealed that she got a brand new Land Rover.

Kylizzle showed off the custom whip on Snapchat on Sunday and wrote alongside a pic of it, “My new car! I got a little excited and treated myself for my birthday." The $200,000 SV Autobiography edition SUV has flat-screen TVs and backseat tray tables, among other fancy features.

Sooner or later she's going to need a new garage! She already has a Range Rover, a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, a Rolls-Royce Ghost and the Ferrari Tyga gave her for her 18th bday. How is he going to top that off this year?!

Last night Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher revealed that she picked Jordan Rodgers, and the two are now happily engaged. (And yes, Rodgers is the younger brother of NFL stud Aaron Rodgers, and much fuss has been made about their estrangement over the last few weeks.)

"I had this immediate sense of comfort with him," Fletcher told People. "From that first initial interaction, I knew I could fall in love with Jordan. On those final days, I thought about who I couldn't imagine saying goodbye to. It was always Jordan. And that's how I knew." No word yet on when the two are tying the knot, but we're guessing it will be soon!

Of course, this all went down AFTER Robby Hayes, the other contender, practically got down on one knee and asked JoJo to marry him. "I can't let you do that because I don't want to take that moment from you," she said. "Robby, I woke up this morning wanting it to be you. Every day, I've been wanting it to be you. I fell in love with you, but for some reason my heart is somewhere else."
