The man that the Republicans want to be president, Donald Trump, apparently once proposed the idea of having a segregated season of The Apprentice. Umm what?!

It appears as though back in July 2005, the Donald came up with the idea of creating a white contestants vs. black contestants for a “controversial” season of the hit NBC show.

On his short-lived syndicated radio show, Trumped!, the silver-tongued businessman said that he wanted to split up the show by race.

The GOP's presumptive presidential nominee said on the show, which aired over decade ago, “an idea that is fairly controversial — creating a team of successful African Americans versus a team of successful whites. Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world.”

The shock jock added, “But needless to say, not everybody thinks it’s a good idea.”

Fortunately for all, his proposed TV show never came to fruition, and was slammed by critics.

Tara Dowdell, a communications consultant who competed on season three of The Apprentice, spoke to BuzzFeed yesterday and sounded off on the ill-advised idea. “Best case scenario, it was a huge blind spot. Worst case scenario, it showed [Trump’s] willingness to exploit race and be divisive — to do anything to promote himself,”“The presidency can’t be one crazy, ill-advised publicity stunt after another.”

She added, “He has the audacity to say he’s a uniter when he proposed Apprentice: The Race War?”

The fact that Trump is in the running for president is still boggling our mind.

Maybe one of the Kardashians could teach him how to do this correctly?

Scott Disick made a big mistake by pasting the caption instructions sent to him by Bootea in his sponsored Instagram post, and the company has got to be pretty pissed! After all, we're supposed to believe that the reality star actually uses the product and is posting about it just because he wants to. We all know that celebs get like $100K per tweet, so he better hope they don't decide to drop him!

Charlize may have ghosted on Sean Penn but it seems like she's haunting him at Cannes!

The not-so amicable exes had to reunite at the photocall for their upcoming film, The Last Face, during the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

For the event on the croisette, Charlize donned a lacey cream dress and simple high-heeled sandals. Sean, who directed the film, opted for khakis, a black top and an army jacket. Oh and they both wore scowls.

The unhappy Oscar winner and her co-stars Javier Bardem, Adele Exarchopoulos, Zubin Cooper and Jared Harris also posed for pics with the former couple. I am sure everyone involved wants as many people between the unfriendly ex couple!

It seems as though it wasn't just their love that tanked -- the film has been panned by critics after it's debut at the French film fest.

On Friday, Sean said in an interview to the media, “I stand by the film as it is, and everyone is going to be entitled to their response. I’ve finished the film so it’s not a discussion I’d be of value to."

The movie tells the story of the director of an aid agency (Charlize), who looks back on her time as a doctor in war-torn Liberia. While there, the do-gooder falls in love with another doctor (Javier Bardem), but a terrible series of events force them apart. The film has been criticized for it's focus of two Westerners falling in love.

Sounds like Sean and Charlize's film is a stinker -- just like their relationship.

Glitz! Glamour! Cannes!

Katy Perry, Bella Hadid and more glammed up for amfAR's 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala during The 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Thursday night.

Katy, who has been canoodling with beau Orlando Bloom during her trip to the south of France, attended the gala in a flamenco-inspired rose-trimmed dress by Marchesa. Hello senorita! The quirky singer later changed up her ensemble and took to the stage for a rousing performance at the star-studded benefit.

Bella donned a simple black gown before she walked the runway at the gala's disco-themed show, where she was joined by models Karlie Kloss, Jessica Hart, Natasha Poly, Lily Donaldson, Soo Joo Park, Toni Garrn, Isabeli Fontana, who all strutted their stuff down the catwalk in ’70s-themed looks.

While Bella stunned in a classic choice, Chanel Iman went for something bold and anything but classic for the red carpet. The model opted for a barely there netting dress. How cheeky!

Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton and Vanessa Paradis were also some of the notable names who put on their best duds for the swanky soiree!


The night's many events included an auction and during the high-priced activity, Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio auctioned off a one-week stay at his Palm Springs estate, Deadline reports.

The outlet reports that the trip can accommodate up to 12 guests but must abide by "house rules." The vacation is from January 16, 2017 at 3 p.m. until January 23rd at 10 a.m.

The site says that the hot prize went for 150,000 euros or approximately $168,157.50 dollars.

Sadly, a stay at Leo's house doesn't come with a stay with Leo. The actor made it clear his appearance did not come with the week-long purchase.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West caught a flight out of LAX en route to Europe yesterday, and it was hard to miss the couple as they made their way through the airport because they were in hideous matching distressed denim. Beyonce would never be caught dead in this horrible outfit! We have to cut Kimmy K a break though, because she literally flew in from Cannes to take Nori to Disneyland and jumped back on a plane less than 24 hours later! Who does that?

The reality star had an in-flight pregnancy scare so she took a test in the bathroom and documented the whole thing on Snapchat."I'm legit in the airplane bathroom, going to take a pregnancy test, because I'm having a little bit of a scare. So, no big deal," she says in the video before showing the "Not Pregnant" reading on the stick.

Good thing she doesn't have another bun in the oven, because we can already barely believe she juggles parenting two young kids with her travel schedule!

Weirder yet, we're told Kim's jetting outta town again tonight, headed back to Europe! That is absolutely insane! Is she going for a frequent-flier mileage record or what?! And where does baby Saint figure into all of this? Does he even know who his mom is? He probably calls the baby nurse 'mama' at this point!

Kim sported her new Yeezy 750 Adidas high tops, black leggings and tank, covered with a blue flannel, which Nori sported Mickey Mouse ears, of course! Kourtney went along with Penelope and some other friends were along for the ride. Fans gawked as the Kardashian Klan basically took over the rides, the concessions and everything else, as they paraded through the park. Kim kept snapping selfies, much to North's chagrin. On the Dumbo ride, the carousel -- it'll all be documented by Kim! No surprise she didn't have her phone out when she downed a two-foot-long churro! You go, girl! But watch out for those calories -- you just go all the baby weight off!

Demi Lovator is all smiles nowadays -- but that wasn't always the case!

The singer, who donned a pair of flares and an AC/DC shirt and an army jacket, made her way into a Los Angeles office building as she prepares for her The Future Now tour with Nick Jonas, which begins on June 29 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Yesterday, the 23-year-old talked to Refinery29 about some less happy times, namely when she was battling a substance abuse problem in her teen years. The singer admitted "I was a nightmare to work with."

Recalling how she viewed her family, who was trying to help her, she said, "‘Try to ground me -- I pay your bills.'" The star, who celebrated four years of sobriety in March, also said, "Prior to getting sober, I was one of those people who was like, I don't give a f--k, whatever. And I used that as an excuse to do whatever I wanted."

She admitted the website that wild parties just aren't her bag. "I had to learn the hard way that I can't do parties anymore. Some people can go out and not be triggered, but that's not the case for me."

But that doesn't mean Demi can't have fun -- and we have the Carpool Karaoke to prove it!

Kylie Jenner is reportedly "freaking out" that a secret sex tape she made with Tyga could get leaked, after it allegedly appeared on the rapper's website for thirty minutes before being taken down!

"Tyga will not sign off on releasing it to the masses, but Kylie is scared that a sex tape could get in the wrong person's hands with one of his buddies and they could put it online to embarrass her," a source dished to Hollywood Life.

"She is freaking out that something like that will happen, especially if she starts bashing Tyga in any way. If the Kardashians bash him, it would open the door for something like that to happen. He has a lot of power right now," the source added.

There's no doubt in our minds the 18-year-old is following sister Kim's formula for fame and Kris Jenner is helping her shop it!
