Selena Gomez took to Instagram to slam society's obsession with beauty, after slightly unflattering bikini pics of her on vacation in Australia went viral.

"The beauty myth- an obsession with physical perfection that traps modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty," she captioned a video of her and her friends on a boat enjoying themselves.

"I chose to take care of myself because I want to, not to prove anything to anyone. Wind in her sails. 🌈💜," she added.

We can't believe body shaming is still a thing in 2018!

"Scott has told Kourtney he's had enough with her hypocritical behavior. He's not going to have her dictating when Sofia is allowed to be around any longer, and it's ruffling her feathers. Kourtney just thinks it's totally inappropriate for a 19-year-old to be playing stepmom to her children, but there's really nothing she can do at this point. It's her worst nightmare, but she never likes people to think anything gets under her skin, so she's playing it cool for the time being."

Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon announced today that she's running for governor of New York! "“I love New York and today I’m announcing my candidacy for governor," she tweeted, along with a link to her campaign video.

In the clip, the TV actress explained why she wants to go into politics.

"New York is my home. I’ve never lived anywhere else. When I grew up here, it was just my mom and me in a one-bedroom 5th floor walk-up. New York is where I was raised and where I’m raising my kids. I’m a proud public school graduate, and a prouder public school parent," she said in the voice over, noting that children today didn't have the same chances.

"Our leaders are letting us down. We are now the most unequal state in the entire country with both incredible wealth and extreme poverty. How did we let this happen? I love New York. I’ve never wanted to live anywhere else. But something has to change. We want our government to work again on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway. We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us," she added.

If she wins, she would become the first female governor in New York history!

Poor Cait seems pretty lonely and isolated now that the whole Kardashian clan has cut her out of their lives. Has she even met Kylie's new baby girl Stormi yet? She spends all her free time with gal pal Sophia Hutchins, but her camp swears they aren't dating.

Kimmy K has been letting Yeezy dictate her outfit choices as of late, and it's been absolutely terrible! He loves biker shorts, ankle socks, oversize sweatshirts, and running shoes, and it's not getting her on any best dressed lists, that's for sure.

Who knows?! I’m all down for experience—not against it whatsoever—but I’ve never been there before," she confessed to Vogue.

"Also, I know I have kind of a . . . male energy? But I don’t want to say that wrong, because I’m not transgender or anything. But I have a tough energy. I move differently. But to answer your question: I’m not gay. I have literally nothing to hide. I would never hide something like that," she added.
