The Jacksons are honoring superstar Michael Jackson with a star-studded tribute concert on October 8 in Cardiff, Wales.

At a Beverly Hills press conference to announce the event, Katherine Jackson told the crowd:

"When I was told some of the names of the artists performing, I knew it would be fit for a king. If my son was here today he would feel the same way, and so I'd like to say thank you very much for helping to keep my son's legacy alive."

The King of Pop died back in June 2009 of a heart attack believed to be caused by an overdose of Propofol.

The tribute show, being held at the Millennium Stadium, will be four hours long. As for the A-list performers, names have not been announced.

Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn't Tweeted in more than a month, but he took to the Twitter-sphere Monday to update the public on his son Christopher's health.

Said the governator:

"Thanks for all your support for Christopher. It means a lot to me & to him. He's doing much better & we'll have him back at full speed soon."

Arnold and his son, Patrick, visited Christopher over the weekend (left). Christopher, 13, suffered a collapsed lung after a boogie boarding accident.

Sources tell X17 that Chris was up and walking around the hospital with Arnold over the weekend.

Despite the fact that Arnold and Maria have both just submitted their divorce filings, they've put on a united front for Christopher, who is expected to make a full recovery.

Friends and family of Amy Winehouse gathered at a private funeral in London to say a final farewell to the 27-year-old "Rehab" singer.

Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson were amongst the celebrity friends in attendance. Winehouse's ex husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was not allowed to attend the event due to his current prison sentence for violent crimes.

Reg Traviss, Amy's recent boyfriend, told the UK's Sun:

"I can't describe what I am going through and I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy, such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love. I have lost my darling who I loved very much."

Amy's dad Mitch spoke to the crowd at the funeral, telling stories about the singer as a child. "Goodnight my angel," he said. "Sleep tight. Mommy and Daddy love you ever so much."

The hour-long service was partially in Hebrew because of her Jewish heritage. "It was emotional, it was happy and it was sad," her rep said. "It was everything really."

When the service closed, Carole King's "So Far Away," a song Amy had performed with Mitch in the past, was played. Mitch encouraged the crowd to sing, and they did.

Winehouse's body was then taken to the same crematorium where her grandmother was cremated.

The singer was found dead at her North London home on Saturday, July 23. Toxicology results will be available in 2 - 4 weeks to determine the exact cause of death.

The gorgeous Dancing With the Stars alum stepped out in a bright purple dress that perfectly accented her newly-svelte frame, as she made her way into the David Letterman Show on Monday.

Before heading out the door, Alley hurriedly Tweeted: "Madly scrambling to get ready to confront my estranged lover..David Letterman…I shoot it tonight. It airs Thursday. I gotta zip outta NYC."

Since finishing at an impressive second place in the DWTS competition this year, Alley has kept up her rigorous workout routine, and it's definitely paying off!

Denise Richards is over the moon with her new little bundle of joy, Eloise Joni, and she took all of her girls to NYC to celebrate their new addition to the family.

We caught up with the hot mamma and her girls as they hit up to posh Italian eatery, Nellos, for some first class grub, before heading back to their hotel. Could they be staying in the infamous the Eloise suite, perhaps?

Although it's been speculated celebrities can adopt kids way faster than us regular peeps, Richards recently opened up on just how hard the adoption process really is. The actress tells US: "Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day. The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through."

The former Bond Girl also expressed how supportive her ex-hubby Charlie Sheen has been throughout the adoption process. The ex-pair are currently still working out a custody agreement with daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6.

Russell Brand wasn't his usual light-hearted self as he stepped out to grab a cold coffee in LA, on Monday.

The star has been grieving over the recent and untimely death of his good friend, Amy Winehouse. Brand even penned a tribute to the late singer, expressing, "Whether this tragedy was preventable or not is now irrelevant. It is not preventable today. We have lost a beautiful and talented woman to this disease."

The Arthur star has suffered publicly with his own drug and alcohol addiction, and his gorgeous wife, Katy Perry, recently confessed she's relieved her hubby kicked the habit before it was too late.

Perry confessed in an interview with ABC News:

"My husband, who has been clean and sober for almost nine years, I see him working a program and working on himself every single day, and I see how much work it takes to be clean and sober when you have an addiction on your hands. It gave me a real a gratefulness for my husband, who got clean when he was 27."

Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided not to terminate spousal support to Maria Shriver, according to new legal documents filed on Monday.

The revised docs also state Schwarzenegger will cover all of Shriver's attorney fees, which he had previously denied in the July 20 divorce filings.

It has been reported Arnold signed the divorce docs without reading them thoroughly first, and was unaware his lawyer had denied Shriver's request for spousal support, and attorney fees.

The freshly changed docs come just after the couple's youngest son, 13-year-old Christopher, was rushed to the ER after suffering multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung after a boogie boarding accident.

Thankfully he's set to make a full recovery.
