Actor David Arquette is opening up to Oprah Winfrey about his history with drugs and alcohol, as well as his recent stay in rehab.

When asked when his problems with alcohol began, Arquette tells Winfrey:

"When I had my first drink of beer, I must have been four-years-old. I was down in the basement with my dad and beer was there and I just grabbed it and drank it. And I remember that. It's one of my earliest memories. I seriously started drinking probably when I was about 12."

The Scream 4 actor, 39, checked himself into Betty Ford on December 29, and tells the 57-year-old talk show host that he's been sober ever since.

As for his issues with drugs, Arquette reveals: "I stole pot from my father when I was eight years old."

Arquette says his estranged wife Courteney Cox, 46, and his sister Patricia Arquette were responsible for getting him to rehab at the end of last year. When asked about their intervention, he says:

"I came back from Miami and I had taken a nap. I woke up and Patricia and Courteney were at my bed. Courteney had a cup of coffee. I was like, 'What are you two doing here together?' I already knew. Courteney's like, 'Do you mind coming out to the living room for a minute?' I said, 'Sure, let me get dressed.' I put on this white outfit and came out. I peeked my head out and [I saw] my best friend Hartwell and my business partner and some guy I don't know. I go 'What up, Turkeys? I guess this is my intervention!'"

David says he and Courteney "are still great friends and getting along really well." The couple are parents to six-year-old daughter Coco.

A surveillance video may be the "smoking gun" in the Lindsay Lohan jewelry theft case.

Surveillance footage provided by Kamofie & Company shows that one of Lindsay's male friends who was shopping with her that day distracted the store clerk while the 24-year-old actress tried on the necklace, according to RadarOnline.com.

A source tells the site:

"Lindsay had removed a necklace of hers that she was wearing when she tried on the necklace in question. As Lindsay was putting her necklace back on, it's apparent the store clerk was distracted by the male companion that was with Lindsay."

As for the actual moment the necklace was allegedly taken from the store, Radar's source adds:

"The video then shows Lindsay and her male friend walking out of the store, all while Lindsay was wearing the necklace. It's all clearly visible on the video."

Lilo has claimed all along that the store loaned the necklace to her and that she did not steal it.

On February 8th Lohan pleaded not guilty on charges of felony grand theft. During her hearing yesterday, Judge Schwartz told Lindsay that if she accepts a plea deal, she will be spending time in jail. If she rejects the deal, her case will go to a preliminary hearing and possibly to trial.

The Bodyguard is the latest film getting the remake treatment, and Warner Bros. has hired Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer to re-write the 1992 classic.

The original starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, and Deadline reports that the reboot will reflect “the world of Twitter, Google Maps and [gossip blogs which have] made access to celebrities easier than ever.” Costner played a former Secret Service agent hired to protect a pop diva with a stalker, and this version will have a former Iraqi war vet playing the part.

It was previously reported that Rihanna and Channing Tatum would play the main characters, but the R&B starlet's rep shot down those reports last year. So here's our question: Who do YOU think should play Whitney in Kevin in this updated version?

After escaping jail time (and refusing to accept a plea deal in court on Wednesday), Lindsay Lohan did one of the most normal things possible -- she went grocery shopping at Whole Foods with mom Dina, brothers Michael Jr. and Cody and little sister Ali.

Lilo switched into a pretty yellow sweater, and even though she wasn't in the mood to have her photo taken, she didn't seem troubled by her latest legal drama. The actress appeared in court yesterday to face felony grand theft charges for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie and Company in Venice, and Judge Keith Schwartz warned Lohan she would face jail time if she accepted a plea deal. Of course, she has until March 10 to make a decision, but we're hearing that she's going to let the case go to trial, which could also result in jail time. Though it's a bit of a gamble, Lindsay has made it clear that it's a risk she's willing to take.

But hopefully Lilo's not stocking up on toooo many groceries -- after all, that preliminary hearing date is coming up faster than she might think, and who knows how soon she's going to have her trial! But surely she won't be chowing down on prison food any time in the near future, right?

No word on whether this bit will be included in Sunday's Oscar telecast, but it's nice to see a little revival of the film's classic carnival scene!

Academy Award hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco re-enacted "You're The One That I Want" and posted the short video online, and the stars also gave us a taste of what to expect at the ceremony this weekend. "I can guarantee that if you're looking for someone to call people out, we're not your hosts," Hathaway tells THR. "I think that humor is really difficult to pull off, and I'm not particularly adept at it. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. Also, I don't mean to sound overly serious, but I am the youngest host in history and I have no business being cynical or calling anyone out. I certainly haven't earned the right to do that."

Brad Pitt made his way through LAX International Airport today on his way back to France. Angelina Jolie's significant other - who was sporting a large gold band (a wedding ring?) on his finger - has been busy renovating the fam's $70 million Chateau Miraval this month and the actor is likely checking in on the progress...

Meanwhile, ex-wife Jennifer Aniston was just in Madrid, Spain promoting Just Go With It. Yesterday, the actress was on Spanish TV show El Hormiguero. And today the 42-year-old flew back in to LAX on Air France, the same airline Pitt used! Too bad the former lovebirds missed running into each other. Or maybe that would've been an awkward moment?

In other Pitt news, various online reports claim the 47-year-old is planning to move his parents Bill and Jane into his French estate (as soon as the renovations are complete) so they can spend more time with their grandkids.

Wonder what Jolie - whose Bosnian War Love Story is still without an official title and release date, according to IMDb.com - thinks about that!
