Britney Spears was spotted at Johnny Rockets this afternoon, and it seems like the pop princess has been going to the restaurant on a daily basis! We're not suggesting she's snarfing down burgers and shakes like she's Jessica Simpson at a chili cook-off, but doesn't she want a little sushi or Mexican cuisine every now and then? Hey, as long as she's happy, that's all that matters!

After it was reported that Lindsay Lohan failed a court mandated drug test last week, the starlet initially said she was "fine" and seemed to scoff at the story, but sure enough, she tested positive for a substance and she's now 'fessing up to it.

Lilo took to her Twitter and released the following statement:

"Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!"

We snapped Lilo arriving at a party with her BFF Eilat this afternoon, and even though she looked totally bummed out, at least she rocked a cute outfit! C'mon, we're trying to stay positive here!

After being arrested and held in police custody for punching a photographer at LAX this afternoon, a rep for LAPD tells X17online that British comedian Russell Brand was transferred at 4:25pm for booking and later released on his own recognizance.

But where's his lady Katy? Around 6pm this evening the starlet tweeted, "If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiance will do his job & protect me. #standbyyourman #don'tf*ckwiththeBrands." Good to see she's sticking by her husband-to-be!

Just before 2pm this afternoon, Russell Brand was arrested and detained after he assaulted photographers at Los Angeles International Airport, and a spokesperson for LAX PD confirmed that the photog, who apparently suffered facial injuries, will press charges for battery.

Brand initially complained to airport police that the paparazzi were trying to get upskirt shots of his fiancee Katy Perry, and after the photogs got a little too close for comfort, they felt the wrath of Russell.

The photog placed the Brand under private person's arrest, and after he chatted with LAX PD, Brand was taken into custody, and he'll be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station.

Russell Brand has been taken into custody by the LAX airport police as a result of a "private person's arrest."

According to the LAX PD spokesperson, the British actor was arrested "by the photographer he battered" ... and then taken away by officers.

About 1:50 pm today, Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 5 to a report of a battery between Brand and the photographer. Airport Police took Brand into custody for Penal Code Section 242 - battery.

He will be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted in Culver City this afternoon for a photo shoot, and when asked about reports that she tested positive for cocaine, the actress had no comment for X17 photgraphers.

Lindsay reportedly failed a drug test last week, and calls to Lindsay's attorney Ed MacPherson haven't yet been returned, but according to the terms of Lindsay's probation, she will get 30 days in jail for a positive drug test.

When Us mag asked Lindsay about the report, she commented, "They're all nuts," but didn't deny that she had failed one of her court mandated tests.

X17online has learned exclusively that Russell Brand used karate-style moves while attacking photographers at LAX. Sources on scene tell us that at least five photographers were pushed by the actor during the incident.

We're told that Brand complained to cops that the paparazzi were trying to get upskirt shots of his fiance Katy Perry ... who was with him at the time of the beatdown.

A photog on the scene tells us, "This is completely not true. We were doing regular walking shots as Katy and Russell walked into the airport. I can't believe he'd lie to the cops like that."

As for Russell's karate-style attack, he must have been using the Krav Maga lessons he began back in May to get in tip top shape for his upcoming wedding. FYI ... Although several photographers were attacked, only one suffered bruising around his eyes. X17online has learned that the photographer will be pressing charges.

Just a few days back, X17online videographers caught Katy Perry exploding on photographers after leaving Boa steakhouse in West Hollywood. These two aren't messing around!

The British actor is being detained for questioning and Katy Perry is with him.

A photographer on the scene tells us:

"Russell was going crazy. Sometimes he can't stand the paparazzi. He was fine one minute and then he just flipped. He must be nervous about the wedding or something."
