Last night, American Idol revealed the rest of its Top 24 contenders, and as quickly as it appeared that contestant Chris Golightly would get the chance to sing for American's votes, he was replaced by Tim Urban!

"It has been determined that Chris Golightly is ineligible to continue in the competition," Fox said in a vague statement. "American Idol contestant Tim Urban has replaced Golightly as part of the Top 24."

Ryan Seacrest didn't make things much clearer. "Must have broken a rule or maybe had previous deal," when a fan asked on Twitter, "Why Chris ineligible?"

The contestants will perform live for your votes starting next Tuesday when the women take the stage.

Britney tooled around town with someone other than Jason today ... her sister her niece Maddie!

Brit's sis Jamie Lynn is in town visiting and the girls were all around town with Spears' bodyguard at the wheel. They started at her lawyer's office in Westwood, then headed to the Mondrian for a bit before heading back to her Calabasas home, late afternoon.

Doug Reinhardt knows exactly how to please his lady and while he apparently didn't get down on bended knee during lunch and propose marriage to Queen P, it looks like Paris was still pretty pleased with her day.

After a late afternoon lunch (X17 was there LIVE!), the pair headed to a party at Christian Louboutin later on and then to dinner at Dan Tana's (see those pix and video coming up soon!). Looks like 29 years isn't slowing Paris down!



Brad Pitt accompanied Angelina Jolie to a costume fitting today in Venice, Italy for the upcoming Tourist shoot.

The couple and their brood will be spending three months in the romantic city so they've got to learn their way around!

Our photographer tells us: "Angelina looked so happy to be there -- they both did. It's like they're living a dream and they know it."

Let the PR campaign begin! Tiger Woods was "spotted" jogging near his Orlando home today by a Getty photographer. And by "spotted," I mean Tiger's peeps set up the shot with Getty so they could get the first images of the beleaguered golfer out to the media ahead of his scheduled intimate chat with "a small group of friends" on Friday during which we expect him to, again, apologize for his infidelity with his wife and perhaps to announce he'll compete in the Masters tournament in early April.

Reports claim Tiger's been back in Orlando for the past couple of weeks following a supposed stint in a Mississippi rehab for sex addiction. A source tells X17online his supposed time at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services may turn out not to be true (as X17 has doubted all along). It is believed Tiger may have sought some treatment after the Thanksgiving Day accident that launched the world's most famous athlete into one of the hugest cheating scandals we've ever seen, but not for six weeks and perhaps, not in Hattiesburg. While we doubt Tiger will address that in this Friday's press conference (I mean really, it's not an intimate chat with pals, there's a satellite feed going out!), the truth will eventually come out ...
