Angelina Jolie is in talks to star as a femme fatale in Ridley Scott's film Gucci, about the feuding, murderous family behind one of the most famous fashion houses.

Variety reports that Jolie would play Patrizia Reggiano, the ex-wife of Gucci head Maurizio Gucci who was sentenced to 29 years in jail for plotting his murder.

The pic, set in the house's heyday of the 70s and 80s is still in the development stages, but after seeing Jolie play suffering mothers/wives and outrageous assasins, we can't wait to see her dripping in retro Gucci (like Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface) and plotting against her fashion magnate husband. Sounds delish!

Scott wants Leonardo DiCaprio to play Maurizio, but he's not officially attached.
